Paris, Tuesday 12th of December

After a long and exciting year on tour Vestre is finally coming to Paris. With the help of our friends at Pro Urba we are delighted to invite you to celebrate the final destination of 2017 for the #NLiUS pop-up tour.

Nordic Life in Urban Spaces is our way of showcasing what we view as the quintessentially Nordic model of urban lifestyle, highlighting attractive and accessible public spaces to be used by all.

Our products are meant to be a catalyst of interactions between humans, of all social and cultural backgrounds.

Welcome to you all!

Team Vestre is delighted to invite landscape architects, architects, urban designers, planners, leaders, placemakers, developers, engineers, and anyone else with an interest in the built environment.

Be engaged by the award winning and highly regarded vision of Martin Rein Cano from internationally acclaimed firm Topotek1 or just sit back and relax while we listen to unique Norwegian talent ARY live from the stage. There will be food and drinks for refreshments while we enjoy this evening.

The event is free of charge but, as space is limited, prior confirmation of attendance will be necessary.

Where: Palais de Tokyo, the Galerie Haupte, 13 Avenue du Président Wilson, 75116 Paris

When: 6 pm, Tuesday 12th of December

Founder of the Berlin based landscape architecture practice Topotek 1, Martin hardly needs any introduction. He has been a central force in the democratic city development project Superkilen in Copenhagen, which has gotten international acclaim, and an Aga Khan Award, for its groundbreaking approach to social meeting places.

Artist, songwriter and producer ARY was born in Oslo in 1993. She has already produced several hit singles, “Higher” and “Childhood dreams” among them. ARY has toured extensively lately. After turning heads at this year’s Eurosonicc, by:Larm Festival and Øya Festival, ARY has been named «one to watch» by a unified Norwegian music industry.

Nordic music is increasingly recognized on the international scene and brings about yet another aspect of the Nordic Life in Urban Cities, which comes full circle with the utilisation of public spaces for social and cultural activities.
