About the project
The history museum in Århus has international appeal by virtue of of both its architecture and its exhibitions. This is evidenced by the two stars in the Michelin Green Guide.
Moesgård Musem in Århus brings the past to life. Through exhibitions and activities, visitors can experience the Bronze Age, the Iron Age and the Viking Age.
The new museum was designed by Henning Larsen Architects. The building sits naturally on a south-facing slope to the north of the Moesgård Manor House. The roof is covered in grass and is open to the public.
The project is internationally recognised for it picturesque surroundings.
Vestre has supplied furniture to the outdoor areas.
