Quality education

Sustainability goals:

3,500 children in areas of conflict the chance to attend school.

We support the work of Gyaw Gyaw in building schools in Myanmar. We also contribute to UNICEF’s work by giving 3,500 children who are living in conflict areas the opportunity to go to school each year. Together with Norwegian Church Aid and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, we are in the process of developing a furniture design curriculum in Jericho. In Scandinavia, we award grants to newly qualified designers and collaborate with local vocational schools.

Norwegian Church Aid & AHO

In an innovative three-part collaboration, we are building a design-thinking curriculum for young people at vocational centres in occupied Palestine. To win against multinational competitors, innovation in the local furniture industry is paramount. First cohort expected to enrol autumn 2020.
